The NFL said the video board can remain 90 feet off the playing surface for now, and that they would continue to monitor punts. Well, in four games – two preseason and two regular season, only one punt still has hit the board, so doesn’t seem to be too big a deal. Now they did raise the board for last Monday’s UC concert so the stage would fit underneath – just barely. But the board was not operable that evening.
